My very good friend Judy says I am a bundle of energy that lights up a room :) I am not sure how true that is, but I do have a lot of passion and enthusiasm for my family, my friends, my travels and for all of the other things that make my life so beautiful.

My father is the pillar of my life, what a fortune to have been raised by such a great man! His wisdom, moral character, and immense kindness will never cease to inspire me.

My mom laughs at me saying that I have the heart of a gypsy, because I am restless in one place and I always seek new opportunities to see the world and help those around me. My paths have taken me to 18 countries so far, and I feel I have so much more to experience!

I am easy going and I love to laugh... I am ambitious and I love challenges.... I am creative and I love to seek ways to improve things... I do not feel comfortable around people who are stubborn and resist change. I like motion and fluidity. I am a liberal thinker and I love good debates. I crave intelligent conversations and points of view that challenge my beliefs.

Most importantly, I am grateful for all of the opportunities I have had in my life. I was fortunate to grow up in a loving family, surrounded by amazing people who have shaped me into the person I am today. I was fortunate to be raised by my grandmother in a small village of Romania, where I ran around through the vineyards all day long and walked barefooted through the shallow rivers. I was fortunate to grow up in a communist regime, so that I could savor the taste of a banana when my father "smuggled" me one from Sudan! I was fortunate to be a commander-in-chief of my unit (to read "classroom" :)) and experience the joy of leading. I was fortunate to meet Ioana in first grade and stay best friends till this day. I was fortunate to be taught math by phenomenal professors, who always challenged my thinking process, so that I could be prepared to participate in the difficult math olympiads. I was fortunate to create an amazing international organization in college, which forced me to confront stereotypes I didn't think I had. I was fortunate to teach English to victims of human trafficking and witness the survival of the human spirit, which defeats even the worst atrocities. I was fortunate to work with an amazing team, principally my dearest colleagues Tiffany and Andy, who always believed in me. I am now fortunate to attend one of the most prestigious MBA programs in the world, which will open new windows in my life. What else could I wish for? In return for everything I have received in my life, all I want is to give back.
